Young Boys have extended the contract of the gardener David von Ballmoos (29) until 2027, with an option for an additional season. The preview is scheduled for June 2025.
De Ballmoos signed his first professional contract with YB in 2013. He started as a substitute and spent two years on loan at Winterthur. The Young Boys first team made its debut in 2017 and has played 247 official matches.
The goalkeeper is built in a palm tree, rich with six championship titles and two Swiss Cup winners. It is a match that also bears the title of the history of the Bernese club.
« David has a leadership role with us and is number 1, » YB said in a statement. Marvin Keller (22) had recently distinguished himself in von Ballmoos’ absence. Keller showed that he could be counted on at all times, the club added.
