One of the best known players without a contract has found a new club. César Azpilicueta, who has laced (Site notre bureau spécialisé) shoes for Atlético Madrid until last season, follows Sevilla FC. The Rojiblancos officially presented the veteran on Friday evening, signing a contract for one year.
Azpilicueta had won almost all club titles during his stay in Chelsea, notably the Champions 2021, 2015 and 2017 Champions League and the Europa League 2013 and 2018. In Atlético, he came to 54 missions in two years, the second year, he was rarely among the starting eleven.
