First endurance test against Serbia

Four games, four victories, zero goals: the balance of the English national team in the qualification of the World Cup is impeccable, but the atmosphere of the three Lions is dominated by skepticism. The objective of criticism is often Thomas Tuchel. The doubt that the 52 -year -old coach in England can lead to the world championship after the « 60 years of pain » well mentioned in next summer seem to develop almost nine months after their entry into office. Before the first real tuches Endurance test against Serbia (Tuesday, 8:45 p.m. in Belgrade), we examine the current situation with TM Expert and Ben Littlemore content manager.
To date, Tuchel has been able to record Andorra, Latvia and Albania as a trio in its balance sheet, but taking into account the requirements of the European vice-champion, these results do not exceed the compulsory victory of the status. The only defeat in Tuchels in the test against Senegal in mid-June was sufficient and a few fans to consider the coach, who was seriously in the eyes of mockery and ridiculous since the public took office. Then, a « shameful appearance », an « embarrassment » and a « spanking of hinge for Tuchel » could be read.
In the offensive game in particular, England has repeatedly disappointed the accusation against the coach: he was free from ideas. A point of criticism with which the predecessor of Tuchel, Gareth Southgate, was also constantly confronted during his mandate and which finally shot him. Even after the youngest and second victory against Andorra last weekend, the criticism was linked: « Boring, boring England » was read Sunday with a view of the national team. Given appearances under Tuchel, it is difficult to remember the positive moments and to look in the hope in the future, wrote the « sun », among others.
How can you take Tuchel’s current criticism seriously? “Until now, the performance has left a lot to be desired.
The Englishman « Times » summed up the aegis of Tuchel as « Joyless » on Monday. Injury problems would show that we depended too much on the individual players that the game models were introduced, it was difficult to share Tuchel’s belief in an early rise, wrote the sheet. The coach himself was optimistic about the duel with Serbia: « I am firmly convinced that we will offer a good game in Serbia. We are ready to accept the atmosphere and physicality. It will be an emotional and very important group game. We will be prepared for this. »
Tuchel’s England: Better balance than under southgate
The balance within the team is « better than in the last European championship under Southgate, who tried to integrate as many talented players as possible in the team, who was ultimately supported by the balance of the team », explains the London Littlemore, but adds: « Nevertheless, there is also a lack of flow of games and apparently also the understanding of certain people involved, and there were also strange tactical decisions which are questioned, which are also likely.
What Tuchel should benefit from these analyzes: if you successfully play the game against Serbia, the way there will later play a subordinate role. In any case, the coach believes that a positive result and a convincing performance of his team can go hand in hand. « We meet a defensive block 5-4-1 with individual qualities on the offensive and large and physically strong attackers. We will prepare for the best version of our opponent. Perhaps we will draw one or two goals and win with confidence. Or maybe we will take a goal by a deflected standard or shot is possible, » explains Tuchel.
TM Expert from Tuchel: 100% at the World Cup on the sidelines
The positive vision of the coach is not at least shared by a lot. « As always, expectations in England are higher than they should be. I think that a large part of fans and the media would describe something other than the victory of the World Cup next year.
The TM expert is convinced that Tuchel will always be seated in English saddle during the World Cup, despite all the doubt and the criticism of the German: « He will be 100% on the sidelines of the 2026 tournament and I also assume that the three lions will be eligible. The duration of Tuchel will be in office after the World Cup remains to be seen. » From the point of view of English, the tournament will be a “all or nothing” game. « To be honest, I cannot imagine that England will win the title, but you certainly have one of the most competitive teams. The match against Serbia on Tuesday will be the most difficult match in 2025 for the team and the coach. The coach is at least certain: » We will prove that we are ready to win. « »
