FC Schalke have sealed the next newcomer. Moritz Jenz comes to Gelsenkirchen from Scottish Series champions Celtic. The Berlin native has only been on loan in the north of the UK. The 23-year-old’s regular club is FC Lorient.
Schalke 04 also loan Jenz to France. He will wear the royal blue jersey for the rest of the season. However, the miners have the option to buy the centre-back.
« With Moritz, we are signing a fast and playful central defender who has proven his quality this season in the Champions League, among others, » commented Peter Knäbel on the defensive player’s signing.
« I was really happy when I heard that Schalke was interested in me, underlined the player himself. Of course, I know the table and I know that it will be a difficult path. Nevertheless, I would like to approach the task with the other teammates and complete it as successfully as possible.
