ᑕ❶ᑐ New Corinthians manager: Alessandro denies ‘hurrying up’ and explains why club haven’t signed Cuca’s replacement yet

Alessandro, (Site notre bureau spécialisé) coach for Corinthiansupdated the club’s search for a new coach after the defeat against Palmeiras.

The manager said the club have so far not negotiated with any coach and have excluded any contact with names such as Tite and Mano Menezes.

« We have no confirmation from the coach to do, we continue to work, to analyze the possibilities. I know that many names are mentioned, it is the size of the club. We know the importance of defining the technical order, we have important games. We cannot make a hurried move that later costs us a new change. We are talking about making the best possible choice,” said Alessandro in contact with the press at Allianz Parque.

Citing names, Alessandro denied speaking with Tite and Mano Menezes, nor did he guarantee coach Roger Machado was on board with the club.

“Mano is working on that. It’s not a name because it works. Roger does not work, like the other professionals, but it is very relative, today someone is salaried and tomorrow not. I understand our fans, who want to understand who our next manager will be, but I can’t talk about something that’s not happening,” commented Alessandro.
