For a long time, there was an open exchange of blows between Bayern and Arsenal in the quarter-final second leg. The 2-2 draw in the first leg would have sent the match into extra time after 90 minutes. But that might not happen at all.
Joshua Kimmich headed the ball into the net to give Bayern the lead after just over an hour. It is only his second goal this season and his first in the premier category.
This could be very important if the score remains 1-0. And also much better than his goal in the Bundesliga when he scored in the 5-1 defeat against Eintracht Frankfurt.
Bayern are currently in the semi-finals of the Champions League thanks to Kimmich’s goal.
