The goal was also very special, at least from a family perspective. Because with his 19th goal in his 14th Premier League appearance, Erling Haaland has now scored more stalls in the competition than his father Alf-Inge. It took him much longer than his son for his 18 goals, or 181 games.
Erling Haaland followed up the 19th goal with goal number 20 after 65 minutes. And it was a record. Never before has a Premier League player passed the 20-goal mark as quickly as the City striker. At the pace Haaland is currently setting, other records could quickly fall.
