Still without SGE deployment in 2023/24
Lucas Alario wasn’t even part of the Eintracht Frankfurt squad this season, partly due to a knee injury. But the striker’s overall record since his €6m transfer in the summer of 2022 is also poor: he has scored just two goals in 26 games. The SGE and the 31-year-old could therefore separate soon. As reported by “UOL Esporte”, the Argentinian is on the list of Internacional Porto Alegre.
As a result, the Brazilians are considering signing a strike partner for Enner Valencia, of whom Alario is the favorite. The former West Ham player has scored 13 goals. and professional Fenerbahce already. However, Internacional believe the Ecuadorian could score even more goals if he had a partner up front.
So, on the one hand, a loan, but also a permanent transfer, is being studied. The ‘Bild’ stakes a transfer fee of 5 million euros for Alario, who has a contract with SGE until 2025 – the Porto Alegre club has only spent more on a player three times in its history. The striker’s salary could also become a sticking point. He is considered one of Hesse’s top earners, earning around 2.5 million euros. In addition to Internacional, where Alario would meet his former Bayer Leverkusen teammate Charles Aránguiz, rumors have also recently circulated regarding a move from Saudi Arabia to Al-Ahli SFC.
