The referee, however, comes out of a controversial match between Nice and Nantes (1-1) …
Obviously, the Technical Direction of Arbitration does not hold rigor to Mr. Letexier of the controversy that followed his last match, between Nice and Nantes (1-1). The 33-year-old referee was appointed to direct one of the most electric posters in Ligue 1 this Sunday, between OM and OL, at the Stade Vélodrome.
Mr. Letexier is therefore coming out of a match where he was violently criticized by the people of Nantes, and in particular Antoine Kombouaré, who was summoned by the Disciplinary Committee of the LFP and risks a suspension. Sorrows ? A penalty not whistled despite a double hand from a Nice defender, another granted in additional time despite a lift from Dante on Castelletto, and two red cards returned to the Canaries, Bamba and Lafont, for dispute.

After this meeting, Mr. Letexier admitted to having « A share of responsibility » in the excitement of the end of the meeting, but he assumes and justifies his decisions. He had been defended by Pascal Garibianthe boss of the DTA, and this appointment for OM-OL is another mark of support.
Mr. Letexier has already refereed OL and OM this season. A fine for a 3-0 victory for the Marseillais, and against PSG for a 1-0 defeat for the Lyonnais. Two rather calm meetings: two yellow cards each time, no red, and no whistled penalty.
