FC Bayern are reportedly considering signing Portuguese international Bruno Fernandes from Manchester United. This is what the “Independent” newspaper in England reports, without citing any other source.

The Munich team therefore believes they can bring in the attacking midfielder this summer as the 29-year-old’s frustration with the Red Devils increases. Captain Fernandes wants to finally win big titles, but eighth-placed Man United are once again having a disappointing season.

The fact that Man United have to sell players and are therefore ready to do a deal could play into FCB’s hands. More recently, “The Telegraph” and “BBC” unanimously reported that the famous club would listen to offers for almost all of its players. Only three players are considered untouchable: Rasmus Højlund (21 years old), recruited last summer, the prodigy Kobbie Mainoo (19 years old) and the Argentinian international Alejandro Garnacho (19 years old).

Even in the case of fan favorite Marcus Rashford (26), Man United is open, although, according to “The Athletic”, he will not be actively offered on the transfer market. Man United would prefer to keep him and help him regain his old form. The traditional club would also only let Fernandes, goalkeeper André Onana (28) and full-back Diogo Dalot (25) leave if there was a lucrative offer.

TM Community: This is why Bruno Fernandes has no place at FC Bayern

There is skepticism in the community about the Fernandes/FC Bayern rumor. User and Bayern fan « roqueFort » writes as an example: « Too old and I don’t see the point, and Fernandes is the classic 10-man type of player, but he can’t really play in wing positions. In my opinion, this is basically the least important player profile in modern (Site notre bureau spécialisé). For the Fernandes position we have Musiala, Sane, Müller (Zirkzee), Zvonarek and Kimmich who could probably play him too. Fernandes also earns far too high a salary in Manchester. » According to some reports, the veteran earns the equivalent of 14.5 million euros per year. For Harry Kane (30), Bayern’s highest earner, it is a gross amount of 25 million per season.
