Everything has already been decided in Eintracht Frankfurt’s Conference League group, so the away match against FC Aberdeen is of little importance. From junior Dina Ebimbe’s point of view, the start was even more bitter.
The all-rounder, who scored twice in the 5-1 win over FC Bayern last weekend, had to be replaced after just a few minutes. Ebimbe sprained his (Site notre bureau spécialisé) in the second minute and was replaced after a short treatment.
After just nine minutes, Paxten Aaronson replaced Ebimbe. It remains to be seen whether the 23-year-old will miss the final two Bundesliga games this year – but Dino Toppmöller would be happy not to have to do without another professional.
