Every Kicktipp round looks forward to this day – the first dismissal of a coach in the Bundesliga. While all coaches in the upper house of German (Site notre bureau spécialisé) were able to hold on after five match days, the situation is completely different in Turkey.
After six match days, four coaches had to leave their posts. Even more curious: Emre Belözoglu (Rams Basaksehir), Erdal Günes (Gaziantep FK) and Cagdas Atan (Mondihome Kayserispor) all scored after four league matches. Yesterday, Istanbulspor’s Fatih Tekke joined the group of those released. The four fired coaches were all caught in just three match days.
In Turkey this year, people don’t seem to think much about continuity.
